# Studio IceField

> Studio IceField is the color grading studio of freelance colorist Wilfred IceField in Aerdenhout, the Netherlands. Color grading and color correction in DaVinci Resolve for film, commercials and branded content, in SDR, HDR and Dolby Vision, remote or on-site. Every project gets a private client portal for upload, frame-accurate review, quotes and invoices.

## Services

- SDR color grading: Rec.709, HD / UHD / 4K, 100 nits.
- HDR color grading: Dolby Vision, 4K–8K, 1000 nits.
- Film restoration: color correction and restoration, Rec.709 HD.
- Render mastering: final masters in the agreed specs and codecs (ProRes 422 HQ by default; ProRes 4444, DNxHR, H.264, HDR10, Dolby Vision and DCP on request).
- LUT design and look development.

## How it works

1. Upload: with the quote the client receives a private portal link to upload footage (whole folders, resumable), timelines (XML, FCPXML, AAF, EDL), reference stills, a briefing and delivery specs.
2. Review: the client watches the grade in the browser, leaves frame-accurate comments and drawings, and compares versions side by side. Comments arrive as markers in the DaVinci Resolve timeline. Live remote attendance is possible.
3. Final masters: after approval the invoice appears in the portal; after payment the final masters are delivered in the agreed formats.

## Client portal

- One private link and access code per project; no account or software needed.
- Footage is stored on the studio's own server in the Netherlands, not on a third-party review platform.
- Available in English and Dutch, light or dark theme, on laptop and phone.

## Tools and credentials

- DaVinci Resolve, calibrated Flanders Scientific reference monitoring, Colourlab AI, Avid Media Composer.
- Dolby Vision Professional Workflow; Color Grading Masters Program Certification; registered member of SMPTE.
